IIRD is an approved training partner of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and is currently running various training programmes in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh under the Government skill development and employment schemes -
- · Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY)
IIRD has been managing DDU-GKY training centres at Uttar Pradesh’s Kashganj and Chandauli. In addition to it, IIRD is also in process to start training centres in Uttarakhand’s regions of Uttarkashi, Gharwal and Rudraprayag with a target to enrol 300 candidates, with training centres under construction and mobilisation ongoing. -
- Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM)
IIRD, as a private training partner, under the aegis of government of Uttar Pradesh is running 11 UPSDM training centres across various districts of the state. Till date, 3,109 youths have been the part of this programme and 1,257 have passed among whom 523 candidates have been successfully placed.
- Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY)
IIRD, as a NSDC-certified partner, has successfully set up two PMKVY training centres in Shimla and Sunni to support the skill development initiative of the Government of India. We are in a process of establishing more training centres in Rohry, Kumarsaid, Nankhari with the target of enrolling 360 candidates to provide them training in various disciplines, such as IT, Healthcare, Retail, etc.
- NSDC training for Mission RIEV’s Community Service AssociatesIIRD has been working to train the youths of rural regions of Himachal Pradesh for its Mission RIEV for the capitative placement as the Community Service Associates through the NSDC-approved training programme. This programme is carried out through the IIRD’s Learning Management System, modified and designed by IIRD’s IT department based on the organisation’s requirement; two batches have successfully completed the training with more batches to be started soon.
